Smart, caring, funny... there are so many words I can use to describe my son, but when I tell him he is creative, he just smiles. Then I smile, he smiles some more... :o) My son loves it when I call him creative because in his mind, I am creative and it makes him happy when he thinks of us as being alike. Afterall, the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
My son enjoys crafting with me, and I really enjoy crafting with him. Heck, I enjoy everything we do together! This past holiday season we crafted gifts for our loved ones. He wanted to make something extra special for his grandmother.
He created this beautiful "mosiac" using cut pieces of tissue paper on canvas (instead of using tiles). In the center is a decal I created of him and his baby sister. He glued & sealed all of his hard work with Mod Podge. He took a lot of time planning each piece of tissue paper, and the end result is beautiful.
